Our mission is to celebrate individuality through custom paper art and workshops that explore the Creative Process. Both are to express yourself in your own, unique way.
This blog is connected to other blogs that both extend the exploration of celebrating our individuality and the creative process. One blog explores mandalas, an ancient art-form used for self-discovery, another revolves around tea -- the 2nd most popular beverage in the world, another touts the advantages of traveling solo to Paris, and a food blog as a self-expression/extension of who you are.
This is also an extension to my newsletter, where I will post my theme article from each issue, workshops scheduled, and a Table of Content for sections of the newsletter that are posted on the other blogs, including specific workshops for that particular subject and recipes either/and relating to Paris, Tea and the food blog.

PAPER ARCHITECT
Paper comes from wood pulp,
wood pulp comes from trees,
trees are a part of nature,
nature is a profound gift to us.
What are you going to do with this gift?
In the literal sense, I use paper --
handmade, recycled and manufactured
to hand craft journals
for you to record thoughts, experiences,
things to remember, insights, dreams, goals.
Some are formatted so you can fill in the information
while others are blank to use for whatever inspires you.
I also use paper to express my own individuality
through artwork and writing (I write pencil to paper first).
In the figurative sense,
using pencil, chalk, charcoal, natural inks,
made from nature taken to paper,
actually heals the person using them.
Writing is a form of healing.
So together, you are connecting to nature
while expressing yourself.
Whether you are drawing, writing,
folding, shaping, transforming paper in some way,
you are creating a structure.
An architect designs and creates structures.
The definition of an architect is:
"master builder, planner, creator, designer,
draftsman, inventor, author, originator,
framer, engineer, founder, prime mover, pioneer."
